How can the TRF help my business?

In 2018 the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) has shown that the trail bike market increased by nearly 20% in a year where the overall motorcycle market has been flat.

Behind the growth has been the TRF, which has doubled in size over the last five years and now has the majority of serious trail riders as members. The TRF is now the largest ACU club.

The TRF will be explaining how the bike trade can expand away from traditional bikers into new markets of people taking out trail riding for the first time.

Through trail riding, we re-excite young riders disaffected by restrictions on bikes, CBTs and moped crime. The growing number of lady trail riders has further swelled our numbers. The TRF has partnerships with the Police where we take a new product into courses focussed on dual-purpose motorcycle training as well as links with DVSA, IAM, RoSPA.

Edited by British Dealer News and Industry Expert Rick Kemp, the TRF has the only UK printed magazine focussed on trail riding. Advertisers such as Fantic and Honda have launched trail riding machines to this market working with the TRF to great success. Tyre manufacturers including Michelin and Pirelli focus on the benefit of their tyres suited for dual purpose applications. Trail riders are big buyers of equipment and tools with much shorter service intervals and an innate desire to fettle their machines. Trail Riders are also the first users of high-powered electric trail bikes such as Bultaco Brinco, KTM Freeride & Zero.

The TRF reach out to around 5500 in print, 22000 by email and up to 250k through social media. Our riding events reach out to over 150k people and attract up to 500 riders. We will be offering easy trade access through the MCIA for demonstrators to get involved in these events and advertise to Trail Riders.

Everybody is interested in growing sales by 20%!
